The Paso de Riogordo is one of the most peculiar and well-known religious cars in Spain. Its staging has taken place since 1951 on Good Friday and Holy Saturday. It has been considered by some media as "the best Passage in Europe" or "an unparalleled stage performance".

Although there are vestiges that date back to the 17th century (proclamations that were recited in the Parish Church during Holy Week...), we can say that the beginnings of what is now "El Paso de Riogordo" date back to 1951. Since then Until today it has not only survived, but has grown thanks to the contribution of all the people who have passed through it. There is not a single family in this town that does not have or has not had someone working in the staging.
